on the railroad town,
And the bars begin to laugh
with a happy sound,

Cuando el sol rojo
se ponga sobre el pueblo del ferrocarril
y las cantinas bullan en risas
y jolgorio,
seguiré aquí,
junto a ti,
pues no hay nadie más
en mi corazón sino tú.

Y los sueños que puedas tener
no te dejarán en la estacada
si por ellos te dejas llevar,
pues sabes
de qué están hechos.
El venero continuará fluyendo
y las palabras se sucederán rápidas
cuando quien esperas
llegue por fin.

Sobre las herbosas colinas
del pueblo del ferrocarril,
habíamos atajado por los cercados
hasta llegar a la cumbre
en la que el viento
agitaba tu pelo,

y Pa habían estado allí.
